On my way home from work this evening, I decided to visit Seacliff State Beach. I hadn’t been here in awhile and completely forgot how awesome it is. The pier was open and the weather was absolutely perfect. In fact, I almost understand why the real estate prices are so high here. Almost.
I usually listen to instrumental music when I’m working/studying. Occasionally though, I find nature sounds enjoyable and and more conducive to learning. Here’s one of my favorites, the aptly named “Thunderstorm” track. You can download here too.

A random (and awesome) afternoon walk
It’s funny — I’ve lived in Santa Cruz for nearly 4 years now and STILL hardly take time out of the day to explore/acknowledge the surrounding area. So on a somewhat random whim, I decided to go for a brief walk this afternoon and enjoy the beautiful weather.
