I’m sure that by now, tens of thousands of geek blogs have already weighed in on the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. That said, I couldn’t resist contributing my own initial thoughts:
- Nifty special effects. But um… would a wide receiver be completely oblivious to GROUND EXPLODING FROM BENEATH HIM?
- Is it me or does Nolan hire pretty much the same actors for ALL of his films? Don’t get me wrong, they’re a talented group. I just hope that their portrayal of characters is different enough to not be confused with other movies.
- I’m still concerned about the decision to feature Cat Woman and the on-set pictures are dangerously close to being cheesy.
I guess we’ll see how things go next year. Here’s hoping it goes well. =)
